The LIVINGSEAS Cooperation International is a merger of two non-profit organizations in Europe and Asia as well as an operational task force to implement the projects in Bali.
Following the motto of swarm intelligence, the LIVINGSEAS Cooperation works towards a common goal and uses the strengths of each individual to be more effective as a whole.
Both NON-PROFIT organizations pursue the same goal.
Livingseas Foundation -
Germany
The Livingseas Foundation e.V. based in Karlsruhe, is a non-profit organization registered in Germany that brings the topics of the LIVINGSEAS cooperation to Europe.
Livingseas Foundation -
Indonesia
As a registered organization in Indonesia, the Yayasan Lestari Biru Livingseas Foundation is the parent NGO of the cooperation and is made up of local and international decision-makers.
Our joint vision
We are working to restore and preserve marine ecosystems and the biodiversity for the long term. We actively promote understanding for the conservation of these ecosystems.
We are safeguarding livelihoods by improving living conditions in coastal communities.
Our goal is to raise awareness for sustainability.
By engaging local communities and opening up reef restoration to anyone who wants to get involved, we are making this system safe for the future.
Together we are moving faster, building thriving reefs, helping biodiversity recover and protecting a cultural heritage: the ocean.
Our TASKFORCE
The taskforce of the NGO projects is the operational dive center Livingseas Asia based in Padang Bai.
Clear orders for the projects regulate the processes and the administration of the donations. Our Coral Restoration Team - recruited from local young people - is permanently employed by Livingseas Asia.
We organize all activities related to our projects within the Livingseas cooperation in collaboration with the local population. This ensures that the coastal communities benefit from our work.

OUR commitment
Livingseas Cooperation
Livingseas Asia and Livingseas Foundation - Indonesia operate directly on site in Padang Bai on Bali.
More than half of the board of the Livingseas Foundation e.V. association from Germany also lives and works on site in Bali.
As an association in Germany, we can therefore also ensure that we have direct influence on all projects and actively participate in them personally or monitor their implementation as co-responsible project managers.
